Thank you for visiting my site.
I am a San Francisco-based photographer / gardener / art history lover / reader / traveller / digital photo restorer / dog mother / meditator.
I built a collection of antique maps of Yorkshire and donated it to Stanford's Rumsey Map Center. My thesis project for the MA in Interdisciplinary Computer Science at Mills College was a prototype of a digital atlas. I still love maps although I love making photos more.
My photographic eye is informed by the works of other photographers and by paintings, especially those by the classical Dutch artists and the Impressionists. I'm currently obsessed with learning about the Italian Renaissance.
May my photographs provide digital respite in this overstimulated world.
